Hi,
just to report 3 possible strange behaviors of HDDScan-3.3 with my new external Toshiba Store 1.5T (ST31500541AS-CC34-6XW17S5G):

- Identity info -> Cache size = Not Reported

- Surface Test -> Read (defaults) -> Map -> Disable Map.. (unchecked) -> program runs, but system hangs not even mouse responding, need reset button

Any clue?
Thanks Smiley

Cache size will not be reported if the cache size field in passport is 0 that usually means cache size is 64MB

As for hanging - it's your PC

Seagate Barracuda LP ST31500541AS Hard Drive - 1.5TB - 5900rpm is reported to have a official cache size of 32 MB.
What can I do to fix this problem with my PC hanging on HDDScan?
thanks
