Hi
Looks like your SATA controller cuts the speed

Hi
Looks like your SATA controller cuts the speed
but i have 2 hard disks , with different firmware

why should only 1 be so slow in the inner part of the disk ?

I don't see any slow drives
Which one is slow and which one is fast?

the  ST31000528AS with  Firmware: CC46 , is the first screenshot chart

the speed  continue to oscillate, fluctuate in the inner zone , after i guess 50gb start to be stable @ 120mb/s

did you see a screenshot like i posted?
do you think it's normal?

thanks
cheers

No I don't think they normal but it's hard to tell why
Can you show SMART from both drives?

Nothing criminal in SMART
Probably the problem is elsewhere
